Like all good independent optometrists, we do thin lenses, contact lenses, retinal photography, etc, etc….. but as local Canberran’s who have great pride in our city and are genuinely interested in the issues of the day and the Canberra community as a whole, we like to take the time to listen to our customers whether that be in relation to their eye health, eyewear, contact lenses or even if they just want to chat about subjects ranging from politics to sport or anything in between, we’ll always find time.

Our Story
Back in the early 1990’s, three young graduates decided to take on the big boys and open an independent practice in Belconnen, ACT.
Many of our loyal customers might remember this practice as Pino and Sun Eyecare. The practice quickly built up an excellent reputation and became popular as the market at the time was dominated by chain stores and the quality, knowledge and service at these places left a lot to be desired.
Fast forward three decades and several name changes and Sun and Partners Eyecare continue that tradition of personable, excellent service combined with quality products and experienced, skilled and knowledgeable local staff.
We pride ourselves in values that our competitors cannot replicate and all our staff possess skills that simply cannot be taught overnight. How to listen, communicate, connect and care for people and how to create a great family company culture.
Even now three decades later, our core philosophies remain the same.
